The studio's work is based on the belief that the design of open spaces must be done in an interdisciplinary manner, through collaborations with different entities from the  public and the private sectors. 

Over the years of our practice we have gained vast knowledge and professional experience in planning and design of projects for various institutions from the public sector (including municipalities, governmental entities, associations from the agricultural sector and other statutory bodies), while planning projects for leading corporations from the private sector. 

Yael Bar-Maor is also involved in the research and teaching of landscape architecture and urban design in academic institutions.
